About The Agro Mars Project
The Agro-Mars Project, located in Ukraine, was built to withstand the most extreme cold conditions. It grows 660,000 heavy breeders in 50 large, fully automated houses.
The Agro-Mars project, located in the Ukraine, grows 660,000 heavy breeders in 50 large fully automated houses. The project was designed and engineered by Agrotop to withstand extreme winter conditions of -35°C (-31°F) – freezing, heavy snow load, harsh winds and mud. The clever design and a unique temperature control system keep a steady temperature of 22-24°C (72-75°F) across the entire house.
Part of the project was constructed during the winter season to meet the client’s deadline. In order to maximize work efficiency, an additional real-life 18×6 meter model was constructed in Agrotop’s factory, and approved by the client’s engineers prior to the construction phase. This extra measure ensured the deadline would be met.
