Slaughterhouse & Broiler Farm

Second project for the client

About The Amo Farm Project

The Amo Farms slaughterhouse runs a semi-automated line with capability of 1,000 birds per hour and adheres to the highest European food industry standards. Its plug-in cooling units allow reliable, easy maintenance of the cooling rooms.

The Amo Farms slaughterhouse, part of the 17,000 Sqm Broiler farm, is located in a relatively isolated area in Nigeria. It is operated completely by a local staff, runs a semi-automated line with capability of 1,000 birds an hour and adheres to the highest European food industry standards.

In response to the client’s need for a reliable cooling system requiring simple maintenance, a recurring need in Africa, Agrotop introduced designated plug-in cooling units. Plug-In units simplify problem diagnosis and allow the replacement of any malfunctioning part relatively easily and without excessive technical background. Each cooling room was designed with two plug-in cooling units for backup purposes.

Thanks to the smart design, high standard material and a well-trained operation team, the Amo Farms slaughterhouse is working in high capacity with zero malfunctions. This is Agrotop’s second project for the Client, that chose Agrotop for a third project afterwards.
