Commissioning of Poultry Sheds
Carry out a series of professional test to assure that your chicken farm is ready for commissioning
When commissioning an environmentally controlled poultry shed, one of the most important tasks is to carry out extensive tests. We at Agrotop have acquired extensive experience in perfuming such tests to see that the shed meets the defined specifications. We will be happy to carry similar tests for your chicken farm enabling you to build a databank to program the controller and to use as a reference point to assess the condition of the shed and equipment in the future.
Closed shed static pressure test
The closed shed static pressure test gives an indication of how tight the shed is. The test checks the house tightness and which fan combination provides the right pressure. All data is recorded and compared with similar sheds built at same time.
Wind speed test
This test is required to check that the shed meets the specs and that the shed reaches the desired wind speed. It also examines weather the static pressure is reasonable when all fans are on.
The wind speed test checks in addition how even wind speed is across the in comparison to similar sheds.
Smoke tests
These tests are carried out using smoke bombs or smoke machine. The test checks which combination of fans, static pressures and angles of inlets provides the best air flow to avoid cold air and drafts.
