DTK Corp. inaugurates new egg production packing center in Vietnam
DTK Corporation, Vietnam’s leading enterprise in applying high technology in livestock farming, food producing and processing, has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art commercial egg production-packing center in Vietnam.
DTK completed the project for planning and building the center, which currently consists of 12 layers and four pullet-rearing houses and an egg-packing center. The project is expected to grow 600,000 birds and produce more than half a million eggs per day.
Agrotop played a leading role in building the environment-controlled, airtight building for pullets, as well as the layers and the egg-packing and grading center. In addition to Agrotop, other integrators include Hytem, an innovative Japanese company supplying automated equipment for egg farms; Japan-based automatic egg grading and packing company Nabel; Chubu, which specializes in manure processing, and Japan’s ISE Food, the world’s largest egg producer.

The inauguration was marked by a special ceremony with the participation of high-ranking officials from Japan and the Israel embassies in Vietnam, and top management members of the consortium partners involved in the project.
The ceremony took place at the new egg production facility in the Te Le commune, Tam Nong district, Phu Tho province on March 4, 2017.
Also participating in the event were Agrotop’s CMO and founding partner Gavriel Pelleg and poultry and livestock projects developer Benjamin van Dijk, who were responsible for executing the project.
The project adheres to high levels of bio-security standards with ecological emphasis. It also deploys an innovative technology of automated in-line production chain that will produce clean eggs with additional nutrition values. The structure for the pullets and layers is of top quality and is insulated from hot and humid conditions outside, while its climate system is designed to reach sufficient air velocity in order to maintain optimal conditions for the birds.
