First chick placement completed in large broiler project in New South Wales

Agrotop has completed the first chick placement in what will grow into one of the largest chicken farms in Australia. The sheds at the broiler farm, located in Griffith New South Wales (NSW), have been specifically designed by Agrotop engineers, to offer a high quality and economically priced shed solution.

“Populating the project marks an important landmark for all those involved in this large scale project,” said Stanley Kaye, Business Development Consultant at Agrotop. “After years of planning, developing, designing and dealing with the various permits required, the first shed in the complex entered production.”

Agrotop was selected for this project by following an in depth review of the company by a leading Australian Livestock consulting company, Scolexia, which is owned and managed by Dr. Peter Scott.

Agrotop was chosen for the project based on its quality, adherence to Australian standards and competitive prices.

The project is being developed in close cooperation with the Technical Systems Australia (TSA), which is a leading company supplying, installing and servicing equipment for the Australian poultry industry. TSA, owned by Martin Simmons, will be supplying all the equipment for the project.
